We will award our local Club scholarship between shortly before Muster in April. The recipient can be graduating a local high school this spring and attending Texas A&M next fall, or be a current undergraduate at Texas A&M from our Club area. ~~ Aggie Muster on the Gulf Coast 2023 ~~
Location: Outdoor, covered pavilion at the Gulf Islands National Seashore, in Gulf Breeze, located on the north side of Hwy 98, along the shores of Santa Rosa Sound. 1800 Gulf Breeze Parkway. Enter “Nat Seashore Trail” in Google Maps or type in this lat/long: 30.364, -87.139.
Bathrooms, a large lawn area, nature trails, shoreline, and a covered pavilion with picnic tables are on site. You may wish to bring your own lawn chair. See the attached map for details.
Time: Saturday April 22nd , 2022, 11:00 to 2:00pm. We’ll have food ready around noon. Muster Ceremony at 1pm.
- Food: Pulled pork, condiments, water, and iced tea provided. You are welcome and encouraged to bring a side dish. BYOB okay.
- Fun: The park is open from 7:30am until sunset. We have the pavilion reserved all day. Feel free to come early or stay late and take advantage of the beautiful surroundings.
- Fellowship: Come meet your fellow Emerald Coast Aggies and enjoy some Aggie camaraderie. Comfortable, casual, (and maroon) attire is encouraged.
Guest Speaker: Mr. Jerry Holditch, Aggie Class of 1979, Vice-President of Geoscience, Rio Grande Exploration & Production. GIG ‘EM!
Cost:: $15 to all Ags and guests over the age of 12. Twelve and under are free, as are families of Aggies whose passing we commemorate this year. Cash, check, or PayPal accepted at Muster.
