Payment Information:

Since this evening is on a military base, we need to submit guest list on the 14th.  All reservations must be made and paid in full prior to the 14th.  Why are we asking that the meals be paid in full?  We have been responsible for paying for all meals that we have previously placed for this evening.  It is industry standard that all meals contracted, will be paid for whether it is eaten or not.   It has been an ongoing situation that is costing this club funds that it does not have. Last year, we were responsible for 10 meals due to no shows.  This amounted to $300.  We would rather give those monies to students attending Texas A&M University.

We will only be submitting names to Hurlburt Security for those individuals who have paid.  It is unfortunate that it has to be this way but we can only afford to pay for meals that are paid for.

You can pay with a credit card through our Square Account and can be invoiced the amount or you can give Samantha your info over the phone.  You can also mail a check to Samantha for the dinner.

Silent Auction

New this year and in order to raise some funds for our local club scholarships, Samantha has taken on the challenge of hosting a silent auction for the evening.  She is asking for any members who own businesses to donate items for the evening.   So if you can help her out, she would really appreciate any generosity that you can provide.  We are asking for all kinds of help!

So plan on the bringing the check book and be ready to sign up for some wonderful Aggie collectibles that she has arranged for the evening from Texas.

Scholarship Donations

Over the course of our time in the club, we heard from many of you who did not like the charge to be a club member and that the charge was payable with your Muster reservations.  I have lived in the area since 1996 and can also state that we did not attend Muster due to the cost of the dinner plus the membership fee. We have a relatively large population of young Aggies who have stated that they do not attend Muster for the same reason.  We did away with the membership fee, but also lost the ability to raise funds. We decided to leave it up to the Aggies in the area to give what they could.

So please, if you are able, make a donation to the scholarship fund.

Evening with Eric and Pauline Hyman

The Hyman’s will be in town attending the SEC Conferences at the end of May.  On May 29th, we will be hosting the Hyman’s at the house for a Florida Shrimp Boil.  Details and directions will be coming closer to the date.  Hope everyone can come out and meet Eric and Pauline.
